The DELTA (Distance Education and Learning Technology Applications) unit of the Turin Centre gets regular requests to design and develop tailor-made toolkits on learning, training and knowledge sharing. Below you can find three toolkit examples that were recently developed by our unit. Feel free to contact us if your institution or organisation is interested in doing a similar exercise.
The Compass toolkit uses the metaphor of a navigational instrument to guide you through a repository of 60 participatory learning, training and knowledge sharing methodologies. The 60 instructional fiches are designed to be as practical as possible. Therefore we illustrated each methodology by a case study of the application of the methodology in the context of the Turin Centre.
The Compass toolkit can be accessed here.
The Mobile Learning Toolkit
‘Mobile’ in the ‘Mobile Learning Toolkit’ goes in this way beyond the usual ‘mobile’ phone, and explores fundamentally how we can make learning accessible ‘anytime‘ and ‘anywhere‘ beyond the physical boarders of a training room. The toolkit will be updated on an annual base with new stories as the mobile learning story is an evolving one which internally started just some years ago.
Feel free to explore the Mobile Learning Toolkit!
Share, Learn and Innovate (OHCHR)
The Share, Learn and Innovate project was created to make OHCHR work more effective in the fulfillment of its mandate. Based on a knowledge management needs assessment and a review of knowledge management approaches and practices of UN agencies, ITC-ILO developed a knowledge sharing toolkit which includes methods and techniques to enhance knowledge sharing within OHCHR and through OHCHR activities.
The online toolkit can be viewed here.
